This year we will be discovering new grounds in the Shuswap area including Sunnybrae, Margaret Falls and Switzmalph Cultural Centre at the mouth of the Salmon River. We will be trying out some new techniques in art-making as well.

Some of the mediums we will be exploring are: drawing in nature using watercolour pencils, using natural elements to create sculpture, making a sketch book and creating your own painted basket.

Nanika Albricht will be returning as lead instructor for the camp, and each day we will have a different visiting artist. Our alternating artists and instructors include Tracy Kutchner, Ceren Caner and Diane Jewell, with more to come as schedules align.

Our focus will be on observing and discovery as this is both a part of art making and exploring in nature, we are going to get curious this summer and see what we can find, come join in the fun!
